About Morgan

Hello! I'm Morgan, the acupuncturist behind Align Acupuncture.

I am honoured to live, study, and practice this medicine as a settler on the traditional, unceded lands of the W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations, on S,DÁYES, and on T’Sou-ke, Sc'ianew, Pacheedaht, and Songhees Nation territories. It is a privilege to live on this land; to connect with it and to care for it. It is similarly a privilege to practice a form of ancient medicine from a lineage not my own, and I hold the deepest regard for the practitioners who came before me and contributed to the evolution of this powerful, natural medicine. Living on this land and practicing acupuncture both require commitments to lifelong learning and growth, which I am honoured to keep.

I came to acupuncture on a curvy road.

A writer and animal care worker, I became interested in this medicine after experiencing firsthand its effectiveness in regaining pain-free movement of my lower back. I started reading about acupuncture's ancient, Daoist roots — assessing and treating the human experience as a microcosm of the natural world — and found myself called toward the art and science of this beautiful medicine.

After six rigorous and fascinating semesters of theory and clinical practice, I graduated summa cum laude from Pacific Rim College's Diploma of Acupuncture program.

Today, I am excited to offer this impactful, natural medicine to my communities.

Passionate about providing the tools to help others heal themselves, I follow the ancient principles of Chinese medicine, using a nature-based perspective on the human body to treat a near-endless variety of conditions.

Outside of clinic, you'll find me forest-bathing with my pup, immersed in fiction and poetry, or camping along the West Coast.
